Heidelberg University

I worked with Heidelberg University, a private liberal-arts institution in Ohio, to give their primary marketing site a modern refresh and a more flexible content structure. Their previous site wasn’t easy for internal teams to manage, so the project focused heavily on editor experience, maintainability, and visual impact.

I handled the full Drupal build and front-end implementation, including content modeling, reusable components, custom theming, and workflow improvements. Even before newer page-building tools existed in Drupal, I built the system in a way that gave editors strong layout flexibility without sacrificing structure.

On the front end, I created a fully responsive custom theme, optimized media handling, and ensured accessibility and performance were baked in from the start. The updated site supported clearer storytelling around academics, student life, and campus visits — all key drivers for prospective students.

This project is a great example of my ability to combine technical architecture with a clean, performance-minded visual experience for a higher-education audience.
