Von Trapp Resort
The Trapp Family Lodge, a well-known resort in Stowe, Vermont with deep family history and strong brand identity, needed updates to its Drupal site to better showcase its lodging, activities, events, and year-round guest experiences. I contributed to the platform by building new landing pages, implementing fresh designs, and enhancing the component system to support richer storytelling.
New Landing Pages & Design Integration
Working from updated design direction, I built new landing pages that highlighted seasonal activities, lodging options, dining, weddings, and meetings. This included creating templates tailored to the resort’s brand style—warm, textured, and inviting—while ensuring the pages remained easy for staff to manage.
Enhanced Functionality & Component Work
I expanded the resort’s existing Drupal components by adding new layouts, interactive elements, and content sections. These enhancements gave the Trapp Family Lodge team more flexibility in presenting vacation packages, events, and call-to-action features, all without requiring additional custom development for future updates.
Improving the Experience for Guests
Because hospitality sites rely on clarity—especially around reservations, amenities, and seasonal offerings—I focused on structure and usability. The updates helped elevate the site’s ability to guide visitors toward checking availability, exploring accommodations, and learning about activities at the resort.
This project reflects my ability to support design-driven Drupal enhancements, delivering new landing pages and functional improvements for a high-profile resort brand.
