Twist Film

Twist Film is a commercial production company showcasing directors, film campaigns, and integrated media work. Their site needed to highlight high-quality video content and present campaign case studies with strong visual impact. I built the platform in Drupal, focusing heavily on media handling, performance, and the viewing experience.

Custom Video Player & Self-Hosted Media

Because Twist wanted full control over how their reels and director cuts were presented, I developed a custom video player tailored to their branding and interaction patterns. The site supported self-hosted video files, which required optimized delivery, fallback handling, and performance tuning to ensure smooth playback across browsers and devices—especially important for a visually driven production company.

Flexible Layouts for Directors & Projects

The site featured director profiles, press articles, and commercial project pages that blended text, stills, and video. I built flexible content structures that allowed the Twist team to easily assemble new content, highlight campaigns, and create press listings without needing additional development support.

Visual Design Integration & Front-End Craft

The project emphasized high-contrast typography, cinematic visuals, and strong art-direction-driven layouts. I implemented a custom theme that was faithful to the agency’s design language and handled the animations, transitions, and responsive behavior required to deliver a polished creative-industry experience.

This project demonstrates my ability to build media-forward Drupal sites, integrating custom players, optimized video workflows, and flexible editorial tools for creative studios.
