Working Stiff Films - Update

Working Stiff Films is a commercial production company focused on storytelling through humor, character work, and high-end cinematography. Their website needed to function as a director portfolio platform, presenting a large volume of video-driven work across clients, campaigns, and genres. I worked on the Drupal implementation, helping build out the site’s media-heavy templates, structured content, and visual presentation.

Director & Project Galleries

The heart of the site is its director pages, which display grids of commercial spots, each represented by thumbnail stills that link to embedded videos. I built the Drupal templates and views powering these galleries, ensuring fast loading, smooth playback, and intuitive organization despite the large amount of media.

Media-Rich Content Architecture

I structured content types for directors, work entries, and news items so the studio could easily upload new spots, assign them to directors, and feature select pieces. This made the site scalable as each director’s reel grew and new clients joined the portfolio.

Visual Style & Front-End Execution

The site carried a gritty, cinematic aesthetic, aligning with the studio’s brand. I implemented the front-end behaviors—including hover states, thumbnail grids, responsive layouts, and embedded video modals—to deliver a dynamic but clean viewing experience across devices.

This project highlights my ability to deliver video-focused Drupal experiences for creative studios, combining structured content with polished front-end execution to showcase high-volume media work.
